El Concurso público de diseño de anteproyecto Arquitectónico EDDI - RETO organizado por la Sociedad Colombiana de Arquitectos y el Ministerio del Deporte de Bogotá, Colombia, tiene como objetivo principal diseñar una infraestructura física en dónde se articulen dotaciones y actividades deportivas para brindar opciones de esparcimiento y aprovechamiento del tiempo libre.
El Prototipo EDDI-RETO debe ser adaptable a diferentes condiciones geográficas, climáticas y paisajísticas de los diferentes entornos municipales en las regiones de Colombia , aplicando criterios de diseño que disminuyan el impacto ambiental y la huella ecológica en la implantación de la infraestructura recreo deportiva.
Es por esta razón que el prototipo debe resolver la capacidad de atracción del espacio recreo - deportivo para estimular una mayor apropiación de parte de los diferentes grupos etarios y actores sociales de la comunidad que busquen solucionar problemas de sedentarismo, obesidad, drogadicción, vicios y hábitos sociales dañinos para la salud mental, física y espiritual.

The Colombian Society of Architects and the Ministry of Sport organized the EDDI- RETO competition in Bogotá, Colombia. The main objective is to design a physical infrastructure in which sports equipment and activities are organized to provide leisure options.
The EDDI-RETO Prototype must be adaptable to different geographical, climatic, and landscape conditions of the multiple the regions of Colombia, applying design criteria that reduce the environmental impact and the ecological footprint in the implementation of recreational sports infrastructure.
That is why the prototype must resolve the attractiveness of a recreational sports space to stimulate a better appropriation. It must consider the community's different age groups and social actors that seek to solve sedentarism, obesity, drug addiction, vices, and social habits harmful to mental, physical, and spiritual health.

We generate an essential grid that guides the development of projects, organizing, providing, harmonizing, and rationalizing the relationship between the elements. The equilateral triangle, as a minimum unit, configures diverse forms that dynamize space.

Todos los elementos hacen parte del sistema, así, las piezas pueden moverse y combinarse sin afectar la totalidad.
La cubierta compuesta por módulos hexagonales y romboidales autoportantes facilitan la adaptación a la topografía y forma del lugar, su altura variable permite leer el proyecto como objetos sueltos en el paisaje que se mezclan con la naturaleza local.

The roof composed of hexagonal modules and self-supporting rhomboids facilitate the adaptation to the topography and shape of the place, its variable height allows to read the project as loose objects in the landscape that are mixed with the local nature.
